Raise Your Level of Political Awareness and Revolutionary Activity Published: 2026-10-07 Author / editor: Hassanpour Raise Your Level of Political Awareness and Revolutionary Activity Comrades, A revolutionary political party is not built by a name, slogan, flag, and revolutionary feelings alone. A party becomes a real and influential force in society when its members possess political awareness, organizational discipline, regular study, a sense of responsibility, and revolutionary practice. Being a revolutionary comrade is, before it is a title, a historic responsibility. If we want our party to be a strong, conscious force rooted among the people, we must begin with ourselves. We cannot expect society to change while we ourselves have not studied enough to understand society, history, economics, politics, and its class relations scientifically. Political knowledge is our intellectual weapon Today, more than ever, we need comrades who can analyze political and social phenomena beyond their surface appearance and day-to-day propaganda. A comrade must understand: Why does poverty exist? Why is exploitation reproduced? Why do large sections of the people not receive a fair share of the wealth they themselves produce? Why do war and crisis continue in Afghanistan? Why can reactionary forces dominate the people's destiny? What role do social classes play in political change? How does imperialism affect weaker countries? And, most importantly, what is the social force capable of transforming society, and how can that force be organized? The answers to these questions cannot be found in rumors, social media, or a few slogan-like sentences. They require study, reflection, discussion, experience, and scientific analysis. For us, Marxism is not a collection of slogans to memorize; it is a worldview and a scientific method for understanding and changing society. Study must become part of comrades' culture Every comrade who joins a political organization should regard themselves as a lifelong student of the struggle. Reading the works of Marx, Engels, Lenin, and other thinkers of the workers' and revolutionary movements; studying Afghanistan's history; understanding political economy; examining the history of social movements; and learning the country's concrete conditions must all become part of our political lives. But study alone is not enough. Knowledge without practice remains confined to the library; practice without knowledge can become blind action. We need the unity of both: scientific understanding and conscious practice. Let us move from political spectators to political actors Comrades, One weakness we must discuss frankly is the gap between political membership and real activity. Membership in a revolutionary party does not mean nominal presence in a group. A comrade must accept responsibility, study, report, take part in discussions, express opinions with reasoned arguments, complete assigned tasks on time, and work for the collective advancement of the party. A political group should not merely be a place for sending messages and brief reactions. It should be a stronghold for education, discussion, organization, sharing experience, and the political development of comrades. Every comrade should ask themselves: What have I done today to develop politically? What have I studied? What issue have I analyzed? What experience have I shared with my comrades? What responsibility have I taken on? And what step have I taken to strengthen the organization? If every comrade takes just one small but real step each day, in a short time our collective will become a far more conscious and cohesive force. Let us learn self-criticism A revolutionary comrade should not fear criticism. Criticism is not a comrade's enemy; it is a means of growth. We must be able to recognize the weaknesses of ourselves and our organization without resentment, personalizing disagreements, or unnecessary reservations, and work to correct them. A comrade who acknowledges a mistake, learns from it, and corrects it is far stronger than one who always considers themselves flawless. A healthy organization is not one in which no differences of opinion exist; it is one that resolves differences through reasoned argument, discipline, and principled discussion. From slogans to a program, from words to practice Comrades, We cannot call ourselves revolutionaries merely by repeating words such as revolution, class, exploitation, imperialism, and class struggle. We must understand and analyze these concepts and apply them to Afghanistan's concrete conditions. Genuine revolutionary commitment is not measured by the volume of our slogans, but by our awareness, organization, sense of responsibility, dedication, and ability to make a social impact. The party's younger generation must be a generation that reads, thinks, discusses, and acts. A generation that does not merely study history, but learns from it in order to build the future. A generation that is not afraid of difficulties, does not run from criticism, and does not retreat in the face of the challenges of struggle. Comrades, it is time to raise our own level Let us raise our expectations of ourselves, starting today. Every comrade should have a regular study plan. Every comrade should participate actively in political discussions. Every comrade should take on a specific organizational responsibility. Every comrade should strive to understand Afghan society better. Every comrade should strengthen their ability to analyze politics. And before expecting dedication from others, every comrade should ask themselves: What have I done for this cause? Comrades, Society does not change through wishes. It does not change through slogans alone. It does not change by waiting. Social change is the product of the awareness, organization, and collective action of people who understand the need for change and accept responsibility for bringing it about. Let us begin with ourselves; deepen our political knowledge, strengthen our organizational discipline, improve our ability to analyze, become more responsible, and close the gap between words and practice. An aware, responsible, and organized comrade is the true asset of a revolutionary party. The future is built by those who work today to develop themselves and their collective strength. Let us think with greater awareness, organize with greater discipline, and act with greater responsibility. Workers of the world, unite!
